Every camo in Modern Warfare 4 sits on one ladder, and the ladder is long: eight Military camos and three Special camos on each of the 33 base weapons, then Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break, then Divergence, and only then the nine Mastery camos split across Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone. Pick the stage you're stuck on below. Every service is priced per weapon or per camo, so you pay for exactly the part of the grind you want done and nothing before it that you've already finished.
The camo grind is the single biggest time sink in Modern Warfare 4. Levelling one gun to max takes hours. Doing it for 33 guns, then clearing a class-specific challenge on each for Platinum, then another for Harmonic Break, and then a 250-match Mastery challenge on top — that's a season of play for a result that's purely cosmetic. Plenty of people want the camo and don't want the season. That's who camo boosting is for.
We cover the full ladder. If you've never touched the grind, start at Military or Gold. If you're sitting on 33 Platinums and can't face the Harmonic Break challenges, order just those. If you've got Divergence and want Mercurial Drift on your profile, that's its own service. Nothing here forces you to buy stages you've already done.
What Is MW4 Camo Boosting?
A verified booster logs into your account and completes the camo challenges you've ordered — the kills, headshots, double kills or match counts each camo asks for — by playing the game. Nothing is modded or injected. The challenges are finished the way the game expects them to be finished, just by someone with the hours and the aim to do it fast.
Camo boosting is different from weapon leveling in one important way: most camo challenges are skill work, not time work. A level-50 attachment unlocks whether you play well or badly. "25 double kills with a sniper" or "10 kills in a match, 250 times" doesn't. That's why the later camos cost more than the early ones, and why the Mastery challenges are handled by our Iridescent-ranked boosters rather than our leveling team.
How the MW4 Camo Ladder Works
Before you order, it helps to know exactly where each camo sits, because the game gates them in a specific order and a boost can't skip a gate. One camo track covers Multiplayer and DMZ (Warzone joins it from Season 1), so progress made in either mode counts.
| Stage | Camo | Per weapon or account-wide | What unlocks it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Military (8 per gun) | Per weapon | Levelling the weapon — each camo drops at a set weapon level |
| 2 | Special (3 per gun) | Per weapon | Three weapon-specific challenges, opened by weapon levels |
| 3 | Gold | Per weapon | All 11 base camos on that gun, then 15 kills in one match (100 in one DMZ match) |
| 4 | Platinum | Per weapon, gated by class | Gold on every gun in the class, then a class challenge (e.g. 50 headshots for ARs) |
| 5 | Harmonic Break | Per weapon, gated by arsenal | Platinum on all 33 weapons, then a second class challenge (e.g. 25 double kills for ARs) |
| 6 | Divergence | Account-wide | Awarded automatically for 33 Harmonic Break completions — no challenge of its own |
| 7–9 | Mastery 1 → 2 → 3 | Account-wide, per mode | Divergence, then three mode-specific challenges done in order |
Two things catch people out. First, Platinum is gated by class: you can't start Platinum on your favourite SMG until every SMG has Gold. Second, there are two separate 33-weapon walls — 33 Platinums to open Harmonic Break, and 33 Harmonic Breaks to earn Divergence. Someone who only plays assault rifles can get Platinum on their own, but Harmonic Break will stay locked until the other 25 guns are done too. That's usually the point people start looking at a boost.
The Nine MW4 Mastery Camos
Divergence opens three separate Mastery tracks. You don't have to do all of them — pick the mode you actually play. Each track has three camos earned in order; Mastery 2 won't unlock until Mastery 1 is done, and Mastery 3 won't unlock until Mastery 2 is.
| Mode | Mastery 1 | Mastery 2 | Mastery 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Multiplayer | Mercurial Drift — 10 kills in a match, 250 times | Polyatomic Reforged — 3 kills without taking damage, 300 times | Orion Reforged — 5 kills without dying, 500 times |
| DMZ | Chiral — 2,500 enemy kills in the Exclusion Zone | Ripple Tide — 50 successful exfils | Helio — 25,000 kills with legendary weapons on a max-level operator |
| Warzone | Parallax — available from Season 1 | Damascus Reforged — available from Season 1 | Empyros — available from Season 1 |
The Multiplayer track is pure skill work, which is why it's handled by Iridescent-ranked boosters only. The DMZ track is mostly volume — thousands of kills and dozens of extractions — so it takes longer but costs less per hour of work. Warzone Mastery is tied to Season 1; if you order it before the season drops, the order queues and starts the day the challenges go live.
Pyroclast: The Weapon Prestige Camos
Pyroclast sits on its own track and has nothing to do with Gold, Platinum or Divergence. It's tied to Weapon Prestige — pushing an individual gun past its normal max level and prestiging it. There are four tiers: Pyroclast, Pyroclast Terminus, Pyroclast Scatter and Pyroclast Cascade, with Cascade requiring the weapon to reach level 250. It's not account Prestige; you can be Prestige 1 on your soldier rank and still earn Cascade on a single gun.
Because it's level-based rather than challenge-based, Pyroclast is a grind in the weapon-leveling sense: hours, not aim. It's priced per weapon and per tier, and you can order it alongside the completionist camos or on its own.
Account Safety
Camo boosting is a piloted service — a booster plays on your account — and account sharing goes against Activision's terms. We're not going to tell you the risk is zero, and you should be suspicious of any site that does. What we do about it:
- VPN matched to your region. Your account doesn't suddenly appear in another country.
- Appear offline for the whole order.
- No chat, no party invites, no messages from your account.
- A private connection each session — no shared tools, no third-party software, nothing injected.
- Credentials stay inside the encrypted order room. Support never sees them, and they're wiped when the order closes.
Our guarantee: if your account is actioned during a boost we're running, we take responsibility — compensation or a refund. We won't point you at the terms of service. What we need from you: stay logged out while the order is active. Two logins at once is the clearest signal there is. If you want to play, message the booster in your order room and they'll pause.
Order Speed
| Tier | Order starts within |
|---|---|
| Standard | 24 hours |
| Express | 5–10 hours |
| Super Express | 60 minutes — the maximum, not the average |
These are start-time guarantees. Completion depends on what you've ordered: Gold on one gun is a same-day job, Divergence across 33 weapons from scratch is a multi-week one. Each product page gives a completion estimate for its typical order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do camos unlock in both Multiplayer and DMZ?
Yes. There's one camo track shared between the two modes, so a Gold camo earned in Multiplayer is Gold in DMZ as well. Warzone joins the same track from Season 1. The only exception is the Mastery camos, which are mode-specific — Mercurial Drift is a Multiplayer camo and won't appear from DMZ work.
Can I buy just one Mastery camo?
Yes, as long as you've met its prerequisite. Mercurial Drift needs Divergence. Polyatomic Reforged needs Mercurial Drift. If you're missing an earlier stage, the product's options let you add it rather than buying two separate orders.
I've already done part of the grind. Do I pay for the whole thing?
No. Every product has a current-progress option. Select the weapons that still need the camo and the price adjusts. If your progress doesn't fit the options cleanly, send support a screenshot of your camo menu and we'll quote the gap.
Is Pyroclast tied to my account Prestige?
No. Pyroclast is a Weapon Prestige reward — it's about levelling an individual gun past its normal cap. Your soldier rank doesn't matter.
How long does a full Divergence boost take?
From a fresh account, expect two to three weeks on Standard speed. Harmonic Break across 33 weapons is the long part; the Mastery camos on top are measured in days each, not weeks.
Can I watch the order?
Not live — the account appears offline for safety. But you can ask your booster for screenshots or short clips in the order room at any point, and you can log in between sessions to check the camo menu yourself (just tell the booster first so you're never both logged in).
Do I need to level the weapons first?
Only if you order a camo that assumes it. Military camos are the weapon-leveling rewards, so the Military boost includes the levelling. Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break assume the weapon is already at the level where its Special camos are unlocked — if it isn't, add the Military stage in the product options and we'll handle both.
Can you do it in a party with me instead?
Not for camo work. The challenges need to be completed on your account by the booster, so this is a piloted service. If you'd rather do the camo grind yourself and just want easier lobbies, our MW4 Nuke Boosting and ranked services have self-play options.
